I am not sure but I DO know that they knew Osama for a long time, and knew that he had made threats against America. They just didn't believe him I guess...

I remember Clinton sent bombs to eliminate bin Laden's known training camps at a time he would have been easier to find, and the republicans in congress got him to stop the bombing by ridiculing him and screaming ';wag the dog';. They refused to approve or finance the venture. They said he was sending bombs needlessly in order to distract people from his personal problems.True or False. I do remember something like that (19 times might be exaggerating) but cannot find anything specific after searching.





I seem to remember that bin Laden's threats and plans were known and Clinton had the chance to have him in custody but declined.
