Can someone get arrested for putting a false address to a democratic senator on their website?? Just curious.?

I don't know much about internet law.Can someone get arrested for putting a false address to a democratic senator on their website?? Just curious.?
I don't believe so.Can someone get arrested for putting a false address to a democratic senator on their website?? Just curious.?
On the Senator's website? Given that you'd have to break into the website to do it, yes, I'd say you could be arrested for it.

To put a fake address on your own website? Nope. You can say that he lives at the North Pole or even Mars. Anyone who'd claim to be misled by a private website is too stupid to warrant protection.

That's not to say that some idiot prosecutor couldn't try making trouble for you by charging some abuse of another law, but you'd pretty much have to roll over for him to convict you on it.
