What if the police made a false statement in there disposition. Officer took a statement from someone that they said they poured nail polisher remover on a computer desk, but i have pictures showing now fire damage to computer desk.False arrest on false statement?
If you sustain damages as a result of someone's making false allegations to the police, you can sue that person for defamation.
You can't sue the cops - they are entitled to believe that allegations made to them are true.
