Do false rape accusations go on a permanent record? There was no arrest only a police interview.?

They will have your information documented and tied to the complaint in their database, but it will not be a matter of public record.Do false rape accusations go on a permanent record? There was no arrest only a police interview.?
Grey Form for dealing with children or vulnerable people. Yes it will. it would be nice to know that if your are found not guilty that would be the end of the matter. Sadly these days it is not. It follows that even if you are dealing with a utterly unfounded and malicious report it will show up on your grey form. The excuse is that the safety of children is paramount but i think the powers that be are now in danger of believing their own propaganda.Do false rape accusations go on a permanent record? There was no arrest only a police interview.?
There should be a very serious penalty and a permanent record for the accuser. This type of nonsense causes very serious problems in the falsely accused person. I think it is a crime and should require serious JAIL TIME.
If there was a report made and you were listed as a suspect, you will go into the department's database. However, in order to have a ';record';, you have to be convicted of a crime.
The record does not exist for FOI Act as publics need to know.

It may how ever be kept at the police internal investigations files as a complaint with drawn, in case anything in the future pops up.
no records..without a conviction..no arrest..no records
no
No, no record.
No arrest means no record.........
