False arrested?

I had just came from court, 07/17/07;do to a friend was arrested for a 211';Robbery'; on 07/03/07; that suppose to had took place on 08/23/2006; which she was at work. The DA didn't have no witness or anykind of evidance to support his case whatsoever; and just brought up two cases that's almost five years old ago stuff; which this didn't have absolutely nothing to do with this crime. Next court date is on 07/19/07; and if the DA don't have nothing then, as like it was today. The court have to release my friend right! This mess caused her a lot of problems, monthly car and rent payments do, etc. And may had now lost her $22.00 an hour job, and her two children living with her sister as of now, Because of this False arrested mess. But with God's help, she may be released on 07/19/07. Point is now: What is and are all the grounds and who should she bring this lawsuit against; grounds such as #1. false arrest, Etc.

Hoping to hear from you on this question, it's very important!

ThankFalse arrested?
Your friend has best have her attorney or public defender focus on an acquittal.

If that does occur, could at that point try finding an attorney that might take a false arrest case, but odds aren't good, especially if she has any prior criminal record. Even locally a guy that was falsely arrested due to an incorrect warrant where the perp that was to be arrested has a different middle initial, was 10 years older and different address on file with the DMV and never even had so much of a traffic ticket was arrested for child molestation charges tried to sue and was barred from doing so by the Courts even when the attorney did try due to govermental protections and the man sufferred no damages in their opinion.

The only thing that happened was the clerk that wrote up the warrant in error was given a written reprimand and D.A.'s office advised they should review all warrants prior to turning them over to the police.False arrested?
too many details, too little time....

she needs to seek the advice of an attorney on that.

attorney first consultations usually do not cost $$...so go see one asap

good luck
