What can be done for false arm robbery arrest?

My son was arrested for arm robbery, but the robbery did not happen until after he was arrested. The police report indicted that the robbers was described as two black males wearing black hoods.

Also the time was at 10:40 pm, he had been picked up before this ever took place. What can be done for false arm robbery arrest?
If it happened after he was arrested why was he arrested?

I'm sorry but your son is lying to you. What can be done for false arm robbery arrest?
i suppose you could sue for wrongful arrest....but personally - i would let it go!! not worth the hassle...your son is home safe with you - that's all that matters!

EDIT: i don't appreciate your email to me...if your son has done no wrong...he will be released immediately...if not - they have something on him!!!
of course you think he's innocent. You are biased.
He is innocent until proven guilty. If he was arrested BEFORE the crime took place all he has to do is prove he was in police custody at the time the robbery happened. The cops will be his alibi as they will have it documented he was handcuffed in their police cruiser or in the jail at the time of the crime.

If he has a public defender this should be an easy case dismissal even for one of them.
